Intensives

Lean into the universal frustration of the "therapy hangover" and the ticking clock.

There is nothing more frustrating than finally getting to the root of the bullshit at minute 55. You know the drill. You spend the first 20 minutes of your session catching your therapist up on your week. You finally get into the deep, heavy stuff at minute 45. And just as you start to actually process it, you hit an arbitrary hard stop.

You have to stuff that fucking massive breakthrough back into its box, wipe your face, and immediately snap back into reality. Maybe that means sitting in your car in our parking lot trying to pull it together before driving home. Or maybe it means staring at a blank screen while you immediately pivot back to your day.

Intensives are different. We clear the schedule and give you the uninterrupted space to actually get into the messy work, process the stuck places, and find relief. There are no artificial boundaries, and there is no traditional therapeutic conveyor belt.

Living room with a purple velvet tufted sofa, pillows, a multicolored area rug, and a large green knitted pouf. A white shelving unit with plants and decor, a window with sunlight, and a floor lamp with a yellow base.

EMDR

EMDR isn’t just about talking in circles about what happened to you; it’s about helping your nervous system actually process and release it. In an intensive format, we have the time to safely digest painful memories so they stop hijacking your present. If you feel nervous about diving in this deep, that is completely normal. We move at your pace, and your safety is always the priority

IFS

We all have parts of ourselves that we try to silence, manage, or hide. IFS is about finally listening to the parts of you that have been carrying the weight of past trauma. With an intensive, we have the uninterrupted time to help these exhausted parts set down their burdens so you can lead your life with more clarity, compassion, and a lot less inner conflict.

BSP

Where you look affects how you feel. Brainspotting bypasses the over-thinking, intellectualizing part of your brain to reach the deep, unresolved stuff your body is holding onto. With an extended session, you don’t have to worry about abruptly rushing back into daily life right after a breakthrough. We have the space to safely pull it up and actually process it out.

FAQs

If you are exhausted by the slow drip of weekly therapy or if you're a helper/caregiver who simply cannot fit a standing weekly appointment into your life, an intensive might be your best move. This isn't about 'efficiency' or rushing your healing. It’s about gaining momentum. It’s for when you want to stop dragging out the process, do the deep work, and get back to actually living your life.
