EMDR Consultation for Therapists Who Want More Than the Protocol

As an EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training (CIT), Starling offers supportive, practical consultation for therapists who have completed an EMDRIA-approved basic training. She provides individual and group consultation tailored to each clinician’s goals, whether that means working toward certification, strengthening specific skills, or feeling more grounded in EMDR practice.

Starling can provide up to 15 of the 20 consultation hours required for EMDRIA certification. Her consultation style emphasizes confidence, clarity, and clinical growth in a space that supports questions, reflection, and skill development.

If you are curious about how I can support your development as an EMDR therapist, let’s talk.

Case Consultation for Therapists Who Refuse to Do Surface Level Work

Some cases don’t respond to worksheets, neat treatment plans, or pretending everything is fine.

You know the ones—chronic suicidality, self-harm, dissociation, complex trauma, clients who evoke strong reactions in the room, or sessions that leave you thinking: what am I missing?

That’s where we come in.

We offer case consultation for therapists who want depth, not scripts. Our work is rooted in trauma-informed, non-pathologizing frameworks and draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, DBT, ACT, and expressive arts. We pay attention to what’s happening in the client and in you—because your reactions are data, not a problem to hide.

This is not top-down supervision. It’s a collaborative, anti-performative space where you can bring the cases that feel messy, charged, or stuck—and actually say the thing you’re not saying anywhere else.

Together, we’ll:

  • Untangle clinical stuck points

  • Work with protector parts (yours and your client’s)

  • Expand your intervention options beyond “try harder”

  • Reconnect you with your intuition and clinical voice

We’re especially aligned with therapists working with trauma, dissociation, self-harm, and high-risk clients—and with those who value creativity, parts work, and liberation-oriented care.

If you’re looking for consultation that challenges you, sharpens you, and supports you without diluting the work—you’re in the right place.

You don’t have to carry the hardest cases alone.
